A deconstruction and experimentation of a world renowned dance of the Philippines initiated by contemporary dance artist Alvin Erasga Tolentino in association with Kababayang Pilipino dance troupe of BC and director Randy Romero.
Dates: November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & December 7, 2008 (Sundays) at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre
On Sunday, October 19, 2008, Kababayang Pilipino will be performing at Dance Allsorts, to be held at the Roundhouse Community Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver, BC. The partnership will also feature a public dance workshop to be held on October 25, 2008.
On Saturday, September 13, Kababayang Pilipino will be performing at the 3rd Annual New Moon Festival in beautiful Gibsons, B.C.
