Kathy has been performing and teaching Philippine cultural dancing since childhood. Moving to Vancouver in 1994 led her to seek out the young dance group KPBC and grew with the group as an artist and as a person. Performing as dancer, assistant artistic director and board member solidified not only love and pride in her culture but for the people who keep the company going strong. In 2006 Kathy moved to Sweden but stilled joined them for her final performance at the the Belguim tour. Kababayang Pilipino had truly been and will always be her second family.
