Edric Casama joined Kababayang Pilipino in 2004 with the intent of just being a backstage hand for the Pamana showing at the Queen Elizabeth Theater. However, the group gave him such a lasting impression that he became an active member that same year for Kababayang Pilipino’s tour to his hometown of Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Even though he is not classically trained in dance, he eventually became a full-time cast member in 2005 as a dancer for Kababayang Pilipino’s presentation of Pagsilang. Edric enjoys the Spanish and Rural suites for the classic and colourful costumes as well as the atmosphere they carry.
