Kababayang Pilipino presents a six-week workshop series that explores the cultural music and dances of the Philippines.
Dates: November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & December 7, 2008 (Sundays)
Time: 3:00pm-4:30pm
Location: Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre
This workshop series is open to dancers and musicians of all levels. No experience required, just an interest to learn more about the Philippine culture through dance and music.
All workshop attendees will be given an opportunity to audition to join the company at the end of the workshop series. Successful auditions will become full-time performing artists of Kababayang Pilipino, with an amazing opportunity to perform on-tour in Europe in summer 2009!
